A B O U T
People tend to have a cynical view of acting as a craft. If I had a nickel for every time I was told acting was a "brave choice", I'd have about $2.45. Just enough to buy a Coffee Crisp, and that's exactly what I would do with the money too. But I digress. There's a saying that you shouldn't be an actor if you can see yourself doing literally anything else. Aside from the somewhat depressing implications, I've always found that specifically to be a little ridiculous. That's exactly what acting is. How could you possibly be an actor if you can't see yourself doing something entirely different?
Growing up, I was someone who got bored easily. This tended to put me at odds with my elementary school teachers (Mrs. Chevalier, I HOPE you are reading this), but it also led me to lead a lot of different lives. A troublemaker, a straight-A student. A hockey player, a D&D nerd, a speech/debate contender, a grassroots lobbyist, an engineer. Veteran of Drama camp and about a dozen local theater shows. One of the things that brought me the most joy was discovering new worlds and becoming familiar with them.
I think that's what makes me love acting so much. I want to experience a thousand different lives and fall in love with each one of them. I want to be the lost ranger, the overwhelmed salesman. To find contentedness and to grapple with loathing. To see myself doing anything, everything. In short, I've found that the pursuit that allows me to immerse myself in the realities of a thousand different people is the perfect way to live life. To give credit to the makers of the aforementioned saying (see first paragraph), I doubt I could find nearly as much joy doing anything else.
But enough about me, let's talk about me. I grew up on the east coast of Canada before moving to Seattle and eventually ending up in New York City. I've spent my time creating, building things with other artists, and finding all of the best parts of working in make believe. I love what I do and am always looking for new people to become and lives to explore. That desire natuirally extended into a healthy D&D addiction as a side hustle ;).
The best part of exploring different lives is that you get to take some of them with you. I loved learning stage combat (and holding a sword of course). So, I trained and moved into the world of stunt coordination and fight choreography. Now I have met some of the coolest people ever and (literally) expanded my arsenal.
If you want to learn about me, it's easy to say that I am something of a nerd, an avid hockey fan, an actor and a stunt coordinator. A natural-born prodigy at Mario Party 8 and someone who adores the cold over anything the summer has to offer. But the best way to truly understand me is to know that I am constantly changing with the worlds that I get to inhabit. I love throwing myself headfirst into the lives of the roles I play and taking just a little bit of them with me to add to the patchwork of who I am. I love the uncertainty of what or who I will discover next, amd the thrill of finally meeting them.
So, for those of you who were brave enough to navigate to the About page and somehow trek through this entire thing, I would say that about sums me up. And, if you are so inclined, I would love to learn a little about you as well.
Frequently Asked Questions
Anyone with a sword and villainous intentions. Preferably a long cape as well, though I would hate to be picky.
Once upon a time I would have loved to be Evan in Dear Evan Hansen on broadway...
I love anything fantasy. Lord of the Rings, GoT, Eragon - if it has a medieval setting that explores the dichotomy of good and evil then I am sat. I recently finished the Mistborn trilogy and am eagerly awaiting the adaptation.
I'm also a sucker for some supernatural horror. Paranormal Activity, The Conjuring, give me something unexplainable with lots of lore behind it.
Dead Poets Society is one of the most incredible movies ever made. I want to rewatch it just writing this. I also love The Conjuring and Megamind. So three very similar films.
In terms of TV, I adore Ted Lasso. Though AoT and Arrested Development are also up there.
I'm currently in rehearsals for the Fabletown: TWAU series, as well as stunt coordinating for Drinking Games (a theatrical production). Though I am always looking for new and exciting projects :)
There may be something else in the works as well....

Infrequently Asked Questions
MONKS BABY. HP doesn't matter if you don't get hit! I've mostly played Way of the Elements (before 5.5 too, it was rough out there), but would love to explore Shadows or Drunken Master. I'm a firm believer the best class is always whichever one suits your character and backstory the best. Except for Spellcasters. Humans were never meant to understand what a spell slot does, and I intend to keep it that way.
Purple is my favorite color, but I have always felt much more like a blue or a green. Like a deep blue or green, like navy or forest.
Fortune III
Dragons. I love Dragons. Wyrms, Drakes, give em all to me. If it has wings, a breath weapon, and is covered in harder-than-diamond scales then it's a friend, no questions asked.
You have no idea.
Badly.
